Our role
1LeakLink is a lead-generation and referral service. We collect service requests and, when a participating provider matches, may share the request details needed for that provider to respond. The provider handles inspection, estimates, contracts, repair work, warranties, and payment.
Information we collect
Depending on how you contact us, we may handle your name, mobile number, email address if supplied, property city and ZIP code, whether you are authorized to request service, the service you need, your description of the issue, answers about active water and visible damage, and callback preferences. We may also receive basic request and referral details such as the page or campaign that brought you to us.
For the AI phone intake, the call is not audio recorded. If a caller presses 1 to consent, the system transcribes recognized answers and sends one combined transcript to the 1LeakLink technician and a 1LeakLink representative. The transcript may include the caller’s name, callback number, property ZIP code, and reported leak or damage details. Callers do not receive that internal transcript text.
How we use information
We use information to review and route service requests, check provider service and ZIP coverage, contact you about the request when you have asked us to do so, send internal service alerts, maintain opt-out records, prevent misuse, and operate and improve the service.
When information is shared
We may share the details of a service request with a participating provider when needed to respond to that request. We also use service providers to host the website, store request records, and provide phone or text communications. We may disclose information when required by law or when reasonably necessary to protect people, rights, or system security.
We do not sell mobile numbers or share SMS opt-in consent data with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. When a customer requests provider service, contact information may be shared with the participating provider solely to respond to that request. The transcript-alert program sends messages to the two authorized 1LeakLink staff recipients, not to callers.
Text messages
Where you give permission on the service-request form, 1LeakLink and a participating provider may contact you about that request by call or text. Consent is not a condition of purchase. For the internal call-transcript program, one combined transcript is sent to the authorized 1LeakLink staff recipients after a caller consents to transcription and completes intake. Message frequency varies with qualifying calls and service requests. Message and data rates may apply. Staff recipients can reply STOP to stop SMS alerts or HELP for help; replying START resumes alerts after an opt-out. Customer follow-up texts, when enabled, may be stopped by replying STOP. Retention and security
We do not publish a fixed retention period. Request and communication records may be kept as needed to route and document service requests, maintain opt-out records, protect the service, and meet legal or business-record obligations. We use reasonable safeguards, but no internet or messaging system can be guaranteed completely secure.
